Selected favorites of the Liszt and Junior Prima award winning Hungarian pianist.

The Piano’s Soul / A Zongora lelke is a collection of the pieces Balázs János likes to play the most in concert. This award winning pianist and director of the Cziffra Festival gives many solo concerts every year at Budapest’s Academy of Music and the Palace of the Arts. He is regularly invited to perform abroad at well-known festivals and concert venues. His 2016 open air concert in Budapest in front of Saint Stephen’s Basilica was attended by more than ten thousand people – proof that classical music can make a lasting impression on more than just a small circle of enthusiasts. Every month he gives free educational classical music concerts for children, raising future concert audiences with a playful interactive format. His voiced artistic belief has gained him wide popularity: “…music can only be born of the soul’s deepest and most sincere feelings.”
